I work on a lot of electric guitars, and recently changed the way I store spare parts. Drawing from my history and experience working for Apple, I thought to find foam sleeve that might fit over a standard guitar body like a Stratocaster or Telecaster while awaiting its future use. Then I found these 16-in x 20-in foam sleeves here on Amazon, and they’re perfect.These are super lightweight, and fit over a Strat or Tele body easily allowing for stacking or vertical filing, protecing the bare wood or the finish from scratching. They have just one opening on the side to slide the guitar body in and out of, making them super easy to use. I’ve also been able to reuse them after a guitar body has found a new purpose, and not one of them has ripped or shown damage.These can fit laptops as well. But bare in mind, while these are 16-in x 20-in sleeves, their actual capacity will be less, depending on the thickness of the item you’ll be protecting in one. But even with a guitar body, I still have extra length at the opening to tape it shut if need be. They don’t have their own adhesive to seal the opening, which I appreciate in order to reuse. So functionally, they’re pretty simple and that’s awesome.10/10, would definitely buy again if and when this supply runs its course.
