The Bad: I bought these Alpines to improve sound from my 2012 Honda Accord factory radio. After installing a pair in the rear deck, I was surprised to learn the stock speakers in the front doors had more bass. So I didn’t replace them.HOWEVERThe Good: Even though it seems there’s now mathematically less overall bass, the stock speakers in the front sound better than before within a new, wider, and more balanced range thanks to really clear mids and highs coming from the Alpines. I am definitely pleased with these speakers in the role they are playing. It actually seems I have more bass now than before because the overall sound seems so much fuller and less muffled at both low and high volumes. I am no longer constantly adjusting equalizer settings trying to find a sweet spot. These speakers seem to be a good deal if you are sure you need 2 pairs and don’t mind weak bass. It turns out I overpaid by 50% because I bought a pair too many. No complaints about the seller. Audiosavings shipped them right away.
