I bought these because I’ve had good luck with Skar products in the past, I have an old set of Jbl D38 3 way bookshelf speakers I’ve owned for almost 20 years, They sound great on every system I’ve ever used them with and I love them, so when one of the 8 in woofers started going in and out I was super bummed out. I bought these to replace both woofers, thinking that it might sound weird or off balance to replace just one. I figured for the price I would try them and at least they would get me by until i found something better.. Then I installed them, and holy crud they made the speakers sound better than ever! I couldn’t even believe it, It’s crazy how good they sound! I’d give 10 stars if i could. I’ve had nothing but surprisingly great experiences with Skar products. I just replaced my factory truck tweeters with their $25 silk dome tweeters here on Amazon and they blew me away with how good they sound also, You can count on Skar to overdeliver for their price point every time!
